Blockchain: Architecture of Trust

Blockchain  exists for one precise reason: to remove the need to trust anyone. It’s not a philosophical detail. It is the whole point of the technology. For decades, our economic and administrative systems have relied on  centralized trust : banks keep our balances, governments maintain property registries, notaries validate contracts. These institutions work — until they don’t. And when they fail, the entire system breaks along a single fault line: a  single point of failure .

Takamaka: Java full stack Blockchain

Java, born as an object oriented language, has greater simplicity in writing and managing code and intrinsic characteristics of portability, reliability and verifiability. From the node to the smart contract, to the creation of tokens: the result is a high-performance blockchain that does not require special development environments. From the white paper, Takamaka presents itself as a complete and fully open source verifiable blockchain, which solves the ease of programming and scalability, but it also proposes a new consensus algorithm proof of stake (PoS). The algorithm is designed not to be subject to the currently known PoS attacks and to faithfully approximate the security and stability properties of the proof of work (PoW). Takamaka is a blockchain already programmed to be Quantum Safe, because the way the signature algorithm is specified is already defined: in other words, the block signature algorithm is already qTesla.
