Posted on Sabato, 16 Gennaio 2016 Signor presidente, abbiamo appena raggiunto il 25° anniversario della fine della guerra fredda. Lo scorso anno, abbiamo assistito a un gran numero di guerre e crisi in tutto il mondo, cosa che non accadeva da molti anni. Che cosa abbiamo fatto di sbagliato? Presidente Vladimir Putin:  Avete iniziato proprio con la domanda giusta. Abbiamo sbagliato tutto fin dall’inizio. Non abbiamo superato la divisione dell’Europa: 25 anni fa è caduto il muro di Berlino, ma la divisione dell’Europa non è stata superata, i muri invisibili si sono semplicemente spostati verso Est. Questo ha creato le basi per rimproveri reciproci, incomprensioni, e crisi nel futuro. Molta gente, anche nella Repubblica Federale [di Germania], mi critica per il mio noto discorso alla Conferenza di Monaco sulla sicurezza. Ma che cosa ho detto di così insolito? Dopo che il muro di Berlino è caduto, ci sono stati colloqui in cui si è detto che la NATO non si sarebbe espansa ...

THE DARK SIDE OF BITCOIN Mike Hearn dichiara il bitcoin un esperimento fallito e spiega i motivi. Per dovere di cronaca mi sembra corretto riportare questo articolo uscito ieri che ha causato la discesa del prezzo del bitcoin in area 400 dollari. American multinational fund management corporation and the world’s largest money manager Blackrock has announced that a record breaking amount of US$347 billion worth of exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have been traded in 2015. ETFs currently managed by BlackRock, which  total nearly US$130 billion , recorded all-time best performances, surpassing the growth of its iShares ETF businesses in 2014. The New York-based organization with over US$1 trillion in management reached a new high record, selling around US$97 billion worth of ETFs, recording a 15.46% increase since 2014.

Technological advance is spurring massive socio-political change. This progress will reshape the economic landscape in terms of resource distribution and access to goods and services. As a result, the political climate will be forced to change in lockstep. Because of the nature of these technological advances, outdated bureaucracy and government regulations will be ousted to make room for technological freedom and growth. Government initiatives have already been challenged by various sectors within Silicon Valley entrepreneurial movement. But even the old cathedral of Silicon Valley is being overcome and surpassed. Indeed,  techno-anarchism  is rearing back and preparing to lunge at all convention like a savage beast of prey.
